The fleet of

Air New Zealand

All aircraft listed here are available to you as shown plus additional liveries for some aircraft.

Specific info on liveries coming soon™...

Fern

Boeing 787-9

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is the flagship of the fleet, and is the replacement for the 777s that Air New Zealand currently has.

Boeing 777-300ER

The Boeing 777-300ER is one of the planes ever, and it looks really generic. This makes it a perfect workhorse and backbone for the airline to go and spread the koru around the place

Airbus A321neo

Long and simple, nice and modern. Not words that you would expect to be put with eachother but here we have it.

Airbus A320neo

Not quite so long, but basically the same as the A321neo. Both of which are used on international flights.

Airbus A320-200

The domestic icon, used on the longer routes within New Zealand.

ATR 72-600

The ATR 72-600 is a very fuel-efficient turboprop airliner that operates regionally in New Zealand, and is a very common sight around the country with Air New Zealand operating nearly 30 of them (29 in operation and two on order).

DeHavilland Canada Dash 8

In the real fleet, Air New Zealand uses the Q300, but since there is no such model in-game, we are using the Q100.

Pacific Wave

Boeing 747-400

The Queen of The Skies! Unbeatable in opinion, sadly inefficient in reality.

Boeing 777-300ER

Big common plane that's quite the backbone and has been around for a good while.

Boeing 777-200ER

Slightly smaller version of the big common plane that was a good backbone #2

Boeing 767-300ER

The early dreamliner as it's called (admittedly only by few).

Boeing 737-600

Air New Zealand used the 737-600 in real life, but in Aeronautica, it can't have liveries. In-game, we use the -700 variant which does support liveries.

British Aerospace BAe 146-300

Air New Zealand operated this aircraft type for only a year after receiving them off of Ansett New Zealand as a result of their collapse.

ATR 72-500

Back when the ATRs were painted in the Pacific Wave livery, Air New Zealand used the -500 variant which isn't in-game.

DeHavilland Canada Dash 8

Not commonly thought of in terms of the Pacific Wave livery, but it looks quite good in it.

Saab 340

Swedish gem.

Beech 1900D

(if added to the game)

You could call this plane itty bitty and get away with it, however, that is not the case for its forehead. While this plane is not in the game, they are considering adding the 1900C which is essentially the same but without the forehead.

Retro

The Concorde

Obviously not ever in the fleet in real life, but it was added into our fleet for the 100 member special

Boeing 747-200

Would you believe me if I told you this is the better version of the 747? No? Good. Because it isn't lol.

Boeing 767-200ER

The previous variant of the 767-300ER, no winglets sadly.

Boeing 737-200

Some of the first 737-200s ever made were used in New Zealand!

ATR 72-200

Aeronautica doesn't have the ATR 72-200 so we've settled with the -600. The main exterior difference is the propeller count which is only relevant when the engines are off.

Saab 340

The Saab 340 took over from the Fokker F27 in 1990.
